Warren Buffett reveals Berkshire Hathaway’s successor “if something happens to a 90-year-old investor”

Warren Buffett’s successor name: A great revelation was made about Warren Buffett’s successor. This was announced by Warren Buffett himself. “The directors agree that if something happens to me tonight, it’s Greg who will take over tomorrow morning,” a 90-year-old investor told CNBC.

Interestingly, he also nominated Abel’s successor. He said something happened to Abel, who would be CEO Agit Jain. Nearly 10 years older than Abel, Jane takes care of Berkshire’s insurance business.

“But the possibility that someone has a 20-year runway makes a real difference,” Buffett said.

However, according to BBC reports, the age of Jainism seems to have influenced the decision.

Buffett has never publicly signaled his plans to resign. Abel and Jane have been Vice Presidents of Berkshire since 2018. So far, the announcement ends speculation that began in 2006 when Buffett, then 75, first discussed his succession plans in his annual letter to Berkshire shareholders.

Prior to becoming Vice Chairman, Abel was Chief Executive Officer of the company’s Berkshire Hathaway Energy Unit.
