From Gmail to Google Drive, Google offers 15 GB of free space, but it’s not surprising that many will exceed this limit after a while. So unless you’re paying Google for extra space, it’s important to know how to manage all your storage efficiently. All Google accounts start with 15GB of free storage and are shared on Google Photos, Google Drive and Gmail. It may sound good at first, but given that documents, files, and images are in the megabyte range, the space provided is not enough for most users. Google bundles its storage plan with the Google One subscription option. For Indian users, 100 GB of cloud storage shared between Google apps and services, starting at Rs 130 per month and Rs 1,300 per year.
If you pay 1,300 rupees a year, 100GB of storage shared between apps will be stored in Google Drive. If you still run out of storage, you can double this to 200GB by paying Rs 2,100 a year or Rs 210 a month. If that’s not enough, you have a 2 TB storage plan, available for Rs 6,500 per year and Rs 650 per month. In the United States, Google also offers 5TB and 10TB cloud storage plans. However, most users don’t want the additional cost, so they need to know how to free up space.
Users can delete all promotional, junk, and social emails that use storage unnecessarily in Gmail. Here’s how you can do it:
step 1: install Email application Known as Inbox by Google
Step 2: Open the app Select priority inbox (Here, all emails fall into several categories such as unread, priority, updates, forums, purchases, promotions, etc.).
Step 3: This will automatically mark all emails in the above categories.
Step 4: Now you can Delete or archive All emails from a particular section at once, without the hassle of selecting individual emails.
You can track all emails in each category by clicking the three horizontal lines on the left side of the Gmail application.
