Uttar Pradesh police arrested a suspended police officer (SO) from the Kabulai police station in Mahoba district from the Jhansi district on Wednesday in connection with the death of businessman Indrakanto Tripasi in September. Three others, including Patidar and Shukla, harassed his brother financially, according to a FIR filed based on a complaint by Tripathi’s brother Ravi Kant. Another police officer accused in this case was police officer Arun Kumar Yadaf, a resident of Etawa, whose alleged role in the case was revealed during the investigation.

The other two first nominated by FIR are local businessmen Suresh Soni and Brahm Dutt, who were arrested on October 2 and are still in prison.
