With the rise of corona infections, the general rules for students and employees at the University of Bremen will be extended until April 30, the beginning of the summer semester. Bremen employees can also take a free test.
However, given the Robert Koch Institute’s predictions, university management expects the rules to apply until the end of April. These measures are important factors in containing the pandemic.
Employees can test for free
As a further step, Bremen now offers a quick weekly test to all employees. Employees can take the test for free at various centers. Information on locations and procedures can be found on the Corona page “Information for Employees”.
Students are asked to be tested
The President of the University of Bremen also recommends that all students take part in regular tests. As Bremen people, they also have the opportunity to take a simple test once a week for free.
In addition to the state offer, the university is currently working on setting up its own test infrastructure. As soon as it becomes available, information will be provided via known channels such as newsletters, homepages and social media.
Hygiene rules remain important
Always comply with distance and hygiene regulations. On campus, everyone over the age of 16 must wear a medical face mask (surgical mask or FFP2 standard mask or equivalent) on the inside and outside of the building.
