India’s campaign at the Tokyo Olympics was a huge success thanks to Niraji, who participated in the men’s javelin throw final, and blocked Bath in the first attempt.

And in the final, the 23-year-old decided not to leave as late as his first attempt. An athlete born in Panipat recorded a throw of 87.03m.

Then he improved it to 87.58m and was already celebrating knowing that he was able to throw it as far as he wanted. After all, that first attempt would have been enough to seal him a gold medal in his first Olympic appearance.

The reaction is being poured.

Thus, Niraji became India’s second personal gold medalist at the Olympic Games. Abhinav Bindra did so for the first time when he won the gold medal at the shooting event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Overall, this was India’s tenth gold medal at the Summer Olympics, eight of which were won by the men’s hockey team.
