The Common Admission Test (CAT), an entrance exam for top B schools, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), is scheduled for November 28th tomorrow.
This year, about 231,000 rupees of candidates have registered for the exam.
The exam will run in three sessions: 8:30 am to 10:30 am, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Here’s what you need to know when you appear on the exam:
You can download the Admit Card from our website. If possible, use a laser printer to print the admit card on A4 size paper. Admit cards are only valid if the candidate’s photo and signature image are printed in an easy-to-read manner.
Candidates must verify and carry the original ID certificate and printed CAT2021 Admit Card.
Candidates will be instructed to enter the exam center 30 minutes before the scheduled exam.
Candidates will be provided with a pen and a graffiti pad. Drop the admit card, pen, and scribble pad (all pages remain the same) in the box provided after the exam.
Do not bring prohibited items such as electronic devices into the test room.
The test is conducted as follows.
The time allotted for each section is 40 minutes (53 minutes 20 seconds for PwD candidates).
As soon as a candidate begins answering a section, the clock (shown in the upper right corner of the screen) ticks to show the time remaining to complete the current section.
At the end of 40 minutes, the timer will reach zero, the current section will be sent automatically, and candidates will automatically move to the next section. Candidates can then begin answering the next section.
