Three students killed in a U.S. high school shooting: police

According to local police, a shooting at a high school in the countryside of Oxford, Michigan, killed three students and injured six, including a teacher, on Tuesday.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that a 15-year-old student had been detained and his pistol was confiscated after a shooting at Oxford High School.
“There was no resistance during the arrest, the suspect was seeking a lawyer, and he said nothing about his motives,” the sheriff’s office said.
“It’s a very tragic situation,” Undersheriff’s Michael McCabe told Fox News.
“We have a lot of upset parents,” he said.
According to police, there were more than 100 911 emergency calls shortly after noon, and shooters fired 15 to 20 bullets from a semi-automatic pistol with multiple magazines in about five minutes.
They said the suspect was detained within five minutes of the first 911 call.
