The killings occur during a storm over the safety of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission and its personnel.
The Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement last week that on July 16, Afghan Pakistani ambassador Najibula Arikil’s 26-year-old daughter, Sirsila Arikil, was temporarily abducted and tortured from Islamabad.
The incident triggered a major diplomatic line between two neighboring countries dealing with the Taliban’s resurrection when the United States and NATO reached the final stages of their military withdrawal operations.
Pakistan has categorically denied Afghanistan’s allegations, saying that Islamabad police have not found evidence to support the alleged kidnapping.
