Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner is only 12 runs away from recording 500 runs against the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). SRH and Mumbai locked the horn at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai later Saturday, and Warner is trying to achieve a feat in this particular encounter.
Warner holds a record for registering most runs in the encounter with MI-SRH in the history of IPL. In the case of the Mumbai Indians, Kieron Pollard recorded a total of 383 runs against the Warner-led franchise and the most runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Bouveneshwar Kumar won the most wickets in the MI-SRH encounter. His name is a total of 16 wickets, and Lasis Maringa is in the second place after winning 13 wickets.
The Mumbai Indians have played two games so far this season, losing one and winning one. MI head coach Mahera Jayawalden said SRH praised the winners of their side match and he hopes the game will be like a nail stab.
“I think most games will be played very closely this season. All teams are very strong and play in situations where everyone has to get used to. SRH is always a team that qualifies for the playoffs. They are a very good record and they are a very competitive team. They know exactly what their strengths are and challenge any team of those strengths. “The very talented individuals they have,” said Jayawalden in a video posted on MI’s official Twitter handle.
SRH lost the opening two games this season and the team is now about to change their destiny.
