Skoda New top spec Kushaq 1.5L DSG variant In October 2021. However, the launch has been delayed. Skoda Auto India’s official Twitter handle said a new variant would be available in early November and delivery would begin by the end of November 2021.
The new top spec model will be equipped with six airbags and a TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system). The current 1.5DSG variant comes with dual airbags and misses the tire pressure monitoring system. The new variant was introduced after customer feedback. It is based on the style variant and the price of this new variant is 180,000 Renault (in front of the showroom).
The Skoda Kushaq 1.5L is only available in style trim with manual and DSG automatic gearbox options. This engine is the same unit that powers the VW Tygan and T-ROC. It can produce 150bhp output and 250Nm torque. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG automatic gearboxes.
The new Kushaq also features a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The small capacity gasoline motor can produce 115bhp output and 178Nm torque. It can have either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The new Skoda Kushaq Medium SUV is available in three trim levels: active, ambition and style. Prices range from 10.49 rupees to 17.59 rupees. SUVs are directly comparable to Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Routy and MG Astor.
