Mumbai: Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwbara’s RSVP develops a series of adaptations of the books by authors Dominique Lapierre and Javier Morro on the 1984 Bopargas tragedy. The book, entitled “The Five Midnight Pasts of Bhopal: The Spectacular Story of the World’s Most Deadly Industrial Disaster,” was published in 2001.
Weave hundreds of characters, eyewitness testimonies, and adventures into one thrilling human tapestry. The studio purchases the rights to the book and collaborates with Ramesh Krishnamoorthy’s Global One Studios to produce the series. “A breathtaking story, a compelling story … This story needs to be adapted to a screen as important and large as that of Chernobyl.
