R Ashwin puts his weight behind a hundred and says, “Watch a movie in the theater and criticize it.”

Veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin defends the latest cricket match, The Hand Red. The Hundred, a pet project of the England and Wales Cricket Commission, has received harsh criticism since the tournament was announced. The first season of the brand new tournament kickstarted in England last week and was successful in catching the eye of cricket fans. I was also able to attract the audience at the stadium. However, despite all the successes, many veteran cricketers have not yet agreed with the league.

Recently, former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar has called the tournament an “average cricket.” Gavaskar went one step further and called on broadcasters that The Hundred’s coverage was “basic.”

Now, in a new development, Indian spin wizard Ashwin wants fans to see the tournament and decide if he likes it. Ashwin also said it was wrong to judge a tournament without seeing it, just as criticizing a movie is “irrelevant” without any theater experience.

Ashwin also swiped the tournament’s critique, saying “people who didn’t understand this format vaguely commented on the frequent changes in rules and formats.”

He further emphasized that people are not in favor of this format, as “innovation” is often not encouraged and most of us tend to misunderstand all new things at first.

Ashwin also said that we should give credit and gratitude to those who are trying something new.

Spinner is also in awe of the quality of The Hundred’s women’s games. He also said the women’s match would stay here. He also revealed that he fully enjoyed the “women’s game between the Oval Invincibles and the Manchester Originals”.

Ashwin talked about the women’s version of the Indian Premier League and said, “I hope all women’s IPLs are ready to go.”

Ashwin is currently in England for a five-game test series against England.
