BCCI’s decision to allocate IPL 2021 matches to a small number of venues failed with some missed stakeholders playing in front of a local crowd. Currently, Punjab Kings is writing a letter asking the board to explain the same thing. According to The Times of India, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Ahmedabad are one of the cities that host the tournament.

Ness Wadia confirmed that they had asked BCCI for clarification. “We sent a question to BCCI about why it was excluded. I would like to know why, and also asked for more clarity on how this process works. “TOI quoted Wadia’s words.
The report further suggests that other teams are likely to follow suit. KT Ramarao of TRS also requested support for Hyderabad Stadium.
