Imran Khan reportedly said that the increase in sexual assault cases in Pakistan was due to vulgarity. The Pakistani Prime Minister spoke in response to Sunday’s complaint.
When asked by callers what Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is planning for sexual violence against women and children, Imran Khan said there are battles that law alone cannot win. ..
Pakistani news agency Geo News said society needs to protect itself from “fahashi” (vulgarity). He went on to say that media reports of rape and sexual violence accounted for only one percent of crimes of that nature.
The Pakistani Prime Minister added that the incidence of rape and sexual violence is “cancer-like” in society.
Imran Khan also blamed the “vulgarity in society” behind the “70 percent increase” in divorce rates.
In response to Imran Khan’s remarks, his ex-spouse Jemima Goldsmith went to Twitter to quote a poem from the Koran.
“The responsibility lies with the man,” said Jemima Goldsmith.

Going further, politicians who turned to cricket players said the concept of “purdah” in Islam was intended to “suppress temptation.”
“Many people can’t control their willpower,” the Pakistani Prime Minister said, adding that “it had to appear somehow.”
