Shenzhen: In addition to the latest smartphone, OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus also announced the new Buds Z2 wireless earphones.
The earphones come with active noise canceling, Dolby Atmos support, and a battery life of 38 hours when ANC isn’t turned on, including the case, GSM Arena reports.
The Buds Z2 packs an 11mm dynamic driver and pairs via Bluetooth 5.2. They support the AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs and the BLE, SPP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP Bluetooth transmission protocols. OnePlus devices dating back to OnePlus 6 will benefit from fast pairs.
The Buds Z2’s ANC is said to use three microphones on each earphone to block up to 40db of external noise. The Buds Z2 is IP55 drip-proof and the case is IPX4 drip-proof. Each bud can be used autonomously for up to 7 hours with ANC off and up to 5 hours with ANC on. Warp charging is supported here and you can listen for 5 hours with a 10 minute charge.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is available in black and white and sells for RMB 499 (Rs 5,800). The first sale in China will start on October 19th. International availability and pricing have not yet been described in detail.
