Nestlé Q2FY22 Revenue Results Preview: Elara Capital estimates that Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)’s leading Nestle India Limited will have sales of 3,885cr for the quarter ending September 30, 2021, up 10.2% year-on-year. On a Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ) basis, it is expected to be 12.2%.

Meanwhile, Yes Securities expects Rupees 3,948.50, up 11.5% year-on-year in the reporting quarter. This is followed by a 13.6% increase. “Nestlé should have a strong topline growth of 12% on a strong foundation of 10% growth. Margins remain stable with a strong mix and limited RM inflation,” the report said. Stated.
Nestlé will announce its financial results for the second quarter of 2010 on Tuesday.
Three things to note:
- Revenues for the Second Quarter of 2010 – Elara Capital estimates growth of 10.2%, while Yes Securities sees a surge of 11.5%.
- Net Income – PAT was up 10.7% year-on-year to Rs 649.70, up 20.6% quarter-on-quarter due to Yes Securities. Elara Capital’s net income is expected to be 654.4cr, up 11.5% year-on-year and 21.5% quarter-on-quarter.
- Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation or EBITDA increased by 12.4% year-on-year and 18.9% on a QoQ basis to Rs 929.4cr. Yes Securities sees EBITDA as Rs 987.7.
Nestle India’s share price rose 0.4% from its previous closing on Thursday, closing at Rs 19,400 on the NSE.
Sector trends and outlook:
-Elara: FMCG Universe reported year-over-year value / volume growth of 8.8% / 4.9% in the second quarter of 22E, with average realization in the 22E quarter driven by price increases in a sharp inflation scenario. It is expected to grow by 5% year-on-year.
-The EBITDA margin of the FMCG universe will shrink to 90bp year-on-year in the second quarter of 22E as adjusted price increases and overhead management only partially offset input cost inflation.
