NASA Releases New Image of Mars Taken by Hazcam of Perseverance Rover

NASA released some images of the Red Planet when the Perseverance Rover landed on Mars on Thursday, February 18. One of the images shared by the American space agency contains a rover that decants on the surface of the planet.

The second image from NASA shows the horizon of the planet in terms of patience after landing.

Another published image shows details of some rocks on Mars and the right front wheel of the rover.

The spacecraft is equipped with a record 23 cameras and two microphones. Several cameras were turned on during the rover’s descent, capturing stunning images showing the incredible details of the rover’s landing up to about 2 meters off the ground.

Adam Steltsner, chief engineer of the Mars 2020 mission at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, was overwhelmed by the joy and excitement of the team’s successful landing of another rover on the surface of Mars at a press conference on Friday. Said that.

He said images from Perseviation would inspire many other people around the world, just as iconic shots from space inspired him in the past.

Patience, also known as “Percy,” successfully landed on the Red Planet Thursday afternoon, drawing world attention.

Rover sent back the first image of his new home on Thursday night. It was a black and white shot that established a safe arrival.

Patience is the most advanced astrobiology laboratory ever sent to another world, and how many of the most important rock samples Rover could search for traces of ancient life and return to Earth. Landed near the ancient delta to collect the rocks.

A tweet by NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover also shows the location of the rover on the map on display.

NASA says it will share more photos, images, and perhaps audio recordings in the coming days.
