Murray throws 2TD and Cardinals defeats Bears for 2 runs

Lake Forest, Illinois: Kyler Murray threw two touchdowns to recover from an ankle injury and ran two more, with Arizona Cardinals defeating the struggling Chicago Bears on Sunday 33-22.

Cardinals (10-2) easily defeats Chicago (4-8) by regaining Murray and three-time all-pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins after two players missed three games due to injury. Did. NFC West leaders, who hold the NFL’s highest record, intercepted Andy Dalton four times.

The Cardinal, who had left goodbye, improved to 7-0 on the road, with each victory over 10 points.

Jalen Thompson and Budda Baker picked off a path off the intended target in Chicago’s first two possessions. The Cardinals were used by Murray connecting to a 20-yard Hopkins and scrambling 9 yards to the end zone. He also threw a 21-yard TD to James Conner in the second quarter to 21-7, driving Chicago into his sixth defeat in seven games.

Murray completed 11 out of 15 passes at 123 yards, winning 10,092 in three seasons in a cool, soothing afternoon. At the age of 24 and 120 days, he passed 10,000 career yards and became the fourth youngest player, according to an NFL survey. Drew Bledsoe (23 years, 299 days), Jameis Winston (23 years, 303 days) and Dan Marino (24 years, 63 days) are the only young players to reach it.

Murray also joined Cam Newton as the only player in NFL history, passing at least 10,000 yards in the first three seasons and rushing 1,500 yards.

After returning from a hamstring injury, Hopkins caught two passes at 32 yards. Connor has added a 75 yard rush and a 36 yard receive. Byron Murphy Jr. and Zach Allen intercepted.

Dalton sent off Justin Fields due to a rib fracture and made his second straight start, comparable to the height of his passcut career. He was 26 out of 41 with 229 yards and two touchdowns.

Early interception by Thompson and Baker helped dominate Arizona.

Murray and Hopkins connected to a 20-yard touchdown with four downs after Thompson picked a short pass out of the hands of receiver Jakeem Grant on Chicago territory.

Bears threatened his next possession, but had Baker intercept the pass that struck Cole Kumet’s chest and returned 77 yards to 15. This resulted in Murray doing a 9-yard touchdown scramble to 14-0.

Chicago adjusted the 77-yard drive, which lasted about eight minutes, with David Montgomery scoring from 1. But the Cardinal replied. Connor, helped by Xavier Crawford’s missed tackle, turned Murray’s short pass into a 23-yard touchdown to 21-7.

Neither team has reported any injuries.
