The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is tough to say the least, and MG Motor India is based in Vadodara to increase production of medical oxygen as demand for medical oxygen grows. Worked with Devnandan Gases. Both companies are targeting a 25% increase within two weeks, and MG now reports that it was able to achieve a 15.2% increase in production within a week. Currently, average daily oxygen production has increased from 6,056 to 6,979 m3, with production increasing by 923 m3.

An increase of 923m3 in production corresponds to an additional 132 oxygen cylinders with a capacity of 7m3. The company reports that oxygen production has increased from 36 cylinders per hour to 41 cylinders per hour. Devnandan Gases Pvt Ltd. is one of Vadodara’s leading producers of medical oxygen gas. MG Motor India is focused on supporting overall oxygen gas production.

The goal is to increase capacity by 25% in the next two weeks with the vision of increasing it to another 50% in the near future. As the number of COVID-19 cases increases in Gujarat, MG Motor India has decided to close its Halol plant for a week. Automakers have made this decision due to the increasing number of cases of coronavirus and the lack of parts. MG’s Halol plant will remain closed from April 29th to May 5th, 2021.
