Mahindra & Mahindra are preparing for the launch of the long-awaited new Mahindra XUV700. The 7-seater SUV was announced on August 15, 2021 and is scheduled for launch on October 2, 2021. The XUV700 has already been discovered many times on Indian roads, and some features and engine details have already been announced.
In fact, Mahindra has also released some new high-end features for the new XUV 700. The Mahindra XUV700 was fully released via images leaked on the internet prior to its official debut. These are the first fully undisguised photos of a 7-seater SUV that replaces the very popular XUV500 on the market. These photos are said to have been taken at the Mahindra manufacturing facility in Chakan, near Pune.
The speckled Mahindra XUV700 is finished in a golden brown color. The front fascia features a prominent grille with vertical grille slats, an impressive headlamp cluster with C-shaped LED DRLs (daytime running lamps), and a black treatment on the grille and wide central air dam. The SUV gets a square fog lamp and front and rear skid plates.
The new SUV has a chrome-plated whole body. The chrome-plated window line creates a sense of luxury. Other design highlights include a prominent wheel arch, black plastic cladding throughout the body, scooped windshield, multi-spoke alloy, black-filled columns, pop outdoor handles, and gray roof rails. The SUV has large windows and you need to ensure a sense of openness in the cabin.
The Mahindra XUV700’s rear profile looks interesting because it features a fully reprofiled tailgate design, wraparound LED tail lamps, and a roof-integrated spoiler. It gets a shark fin antenna and a silver skid plate. The new XUV700 is available in 6-seater and 7-seater options. The 6-seater is the second row captain seat, and the 7-seater model is the bench type.
NS The new XUV700 also marks the debut of the brand new logo. SUVs are said to have the most features in that segment. It comes with a segment-first ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) with features such as adaptive cruise control, drowsiness detection, blind spot detection, autonomous braking, and lane keeping assistance. The SUV will also be equipped with an antivirus air purifier, smart door handles, auto booster headlamps, a personalized safety warning system and the segment’s largest panoramic sunroof.
The new SUV comes with an impressive twin floating screen integrated into a single large horizontally stacked screen. One screen acts as a fully digitized instrument console and the other unit acts as a touch screen display for the infotainment system. Features include dual zone climate control, wireless charging support, and an electric parking brake with auto hold.
The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two engine options: gasoline with a 2.0Lm Stallion turbo and diesel with a 2.2L turbo. The former can produce up to 188bhp and 380Nm, while oil burners can provide about 185bhp of power. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic. SUVs can also accept mild hybrid systems.
