NFL Draft Sports Betting

There are players that come from all different kinds of conferences when entering the NFL Draft. The 2022 NFL Draft will be no different in that regard when the first round takes place on Thursday, April 28th. Just like every year, the best players seem to come from the SEC. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t talent from conferences like the BIG10, the BIG12, the PAC12, the ACC, and other smaller conferences.

Some players will sometimes come through the FCS, Division 2, or even Division 3. The NFL Draft will have players that will come in different body lengths, shapes, and sizes. What are some of the potential bets for the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft?

ACC

The ACC had a very down in college football, but Pittsburgh won the ACC Conference. They will have some talented players coming out in the 2022 NFL Draft. The money line for the ACC Conference to have over 4.5 players taken in the first round which is -140 and the under 4.5 players taken is ev.

Bet the under in this situation because there will be four players taken from this conference in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. They will be 7. New York Giants- Ikem Eknowu, OL, North Carolina State, 8. Atlanta Falcons- Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State, 16. New Orleans- Zion Johnson, OL, Boston College, and 25. Buffalo Bills- Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson.

There is sometimes usually more talent in this conference but that won’t be the case this year in the ACC.

BIG10

The BIG10 has more talent than a lot of college football conferences do. They might be the second-best conference in regards to getting NFL talent right behind the SEC. Having schools like Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Wisconsin helps.

The money line for over 6.5 total players from the BIG10 conference being drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft is -140 and the under 6.5 money line is ev. Bet the over 6.5 total players from the BIG10 conference being drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Those players that will be taken are 2. Detroit Lions- Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan, 10. New York Jets- Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State, 19. New Orleans Saints- Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State, 22. Green Bay Packers- George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue, 27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Tyler Linderbaum, OL, Iowa, 28. Green Bay Packers- Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State, 30. Kansas City Chiefs- Boye Mafe, EDGE, Minnesota, and 31. Cincinnati Bengals- Daxton Hill, S, Michigan.

They will load up later in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft for the BIG10 conference.

PAC12

The PAC12 hasn’t had much first-round talent in the past years. Maybe in the immediate future there will be more first-round picks in the NFL Draft from that conference. The over 4.5 players money line is +120 and the under is -160.

There will actually be four players taken in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft from this conference, but bet the under here. Betting the over here and your money will be basically taken away.

Those players are 5. New York Giants- Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon, 11. Washington Commanders- Drake London, WR, USC, 18. Philadelphia Eagles- Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington, and 21. New England Patriots- Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the PAC12 with these players though.

SEC

The SEC always has the most talent in the NFL Draft every single year. The money line for them to have over 10.5 players taken in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft is -130 and the under money line is -110.

Actually, take the under money for the SEC because there will only be 10 players taken in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Some of those players are 1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Travon Walker, EDGE, Georgia, 6. Carolina Panthers- Evan Neal, OT, Alabama, and 9. Seattle Seahawks- Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State.
