IRCTC launches Bangalore and Mysore from Mumbai with Daksindal Shanyatra.Check the details

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has devised a “Banglore Mysore WithDakshin Darshan Yatra” tour package for Bharat Darshan (Splendors of India), which begins on December 2nd in Mumbai and ends on December 12th. The special 10 nights / 11 days package costs Rs 10,395 per adult in the standard category and Rs 12,705 in the comfort category. In this tour package, IRCTC operates the “Bharat Darshan Special Sightseeing Train”.

The “Banglore Mysore With Dakshin Darshan Yatra” tour package covers Mysore, Bangalore, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum and Tirupati. Trains depart from Mumbai and board Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Kalyan, Lonavala, Chinchvad, Pune, Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalburgi and Wadi. Reservations for the Bharat Darshan Special Sightseeing Train are available online on the IRCTC website. You can also book from the ITCTC Tourism Promotion Center, Zone Offices and Regional Offices.

date: The 10-night / 11-day special train departs on December 2. The tour ends on December 12th.

Target destination: Mysore, Bangalore, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Tirupati.

Tour cost: Rupees 10,395 per adult for the standard category and Rupees 12,705 for the comfortable category.

Reserve: Reservations for the Bharat Darshan Special Sightseeing Train are available online on the IRCTC website. Reservations can also be made from the IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Center, Zone Office and Regional Office.

Boarding points: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Kalyan, Lonavala, Chinchvad, Pune, Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalburgi, Wadi.

Board points: Wadi, Kalburgi, Solapur, Kurduvadi, Daund, Pune, Chinchvad, Lonavala, Kalyan, CSMT.

Included in the package:

  • Hall accommodation at night stay / morning refreshment location.
  • A pure vegetarian diet.
  • A sightseeing bus for visiting tourist spots.

What to do and what not to do:

Here are some of the things IRCTC has come up with to make your trip better and more comfortable:

Installation and use of the Aarogya Setu app by everyone, including staff, is mandatory.

Tourists are required to wear face masks and gloves.

Luggage must be disinfected at the reception / boarding point.

All tourists must comply with mandatory health recommendations issued by the central, state, and local governments they visit.

Tourists should avoid using other tourists’ phones, water bottles, umbrellas, etc. as much as possible.

Train boarding / alighting / other transportation, monuments and pilgrims’ visits, social distances to follow for group lunches, dinners, etc.

Avoid wandering and congestion in train corridors, gates, cabins, hotels / Dharmashara, etc.

Religions / tourist destinations are not allowed to touch statues / idols / scriptures, etc.

There are no physical offerings such as Prasad / Distribution or Holy Water in religious places.
