Intel appoints Stephen A. For a long time as GM Asia Pacific and Japan

Intel Corporation today announced that it has appointed Stephen A. Long as General Manager of the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) regions. Steve Long is currently the Corporate Vice President of Intel’s Sales, Marketing and Communications Group. Intel will be responsible for Intel’s overall business in the APJ region, including driving revenue growth, creating new opportunities by engaging with the local ecosystem, and strengthening relationships with existing customers and partners.

Long was recently Head of Global Sales for Intel’s Client Business. He joined Intel in 2000 and has held a wide range of sales, marketing, product planning, pricing and operations positions, working in Asia, Latin America and the United States. His previous Asian mission was in Hong Kong in 2004, where he managed the operations team responsible for Intel’s business in the region.

Mr. Long said: “We are excited about the opportunity to continue driving Intel’s growth and leadership in this incredibly diverse APJ region. The four superpowers of AI, popular connectivity and the cloud are accelerating all digitization. It’s an era. Edge infrastructure, and ubiquitous computing. “

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from Lane College, an MBA from Texas A & M University, and is a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management Program.
