Infosys said on Tuesday that it plans to hire 1,000 workers over the next three years to support the UK’s economic recovery and growth.
The company said new employees will work in digital spaces such as cloud computing, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, open source technology, and enterprise services to help the world’s largest organizations navigate their digital journeys.
Infosys said it will provide new employees with important training and mentoring opportunities. The new team members will join Infosys’ design studio in Shoreditch, the Innovation Center in Canary Wharf, the Proximity Center in Nottingham, and other client locations across the UK.
Infosys said in a statement that most of the workforce will be hired by students who have just graduated from a major UK university. “The company will also hire experienced technology and consulting professionals to support local businesses on a digital journey and lead a strong workforce for the future,” he added.
Infosys CEO Salil Parekh commented on the move, saying: .. “
