- Brad Hogg endorsed Lavia Schwinn’s idea at ODI
- Ashwin completed 400 test wickets during his third test last week
- Ashwin has 111 ODI to 150 wickets and 46 T20I to 52 wickets.
Ravichandran Ashwin joined the cricket player’s elite list on Thursday with Joffra Archer’s wickets when he claimed his 400th wickets in the pink ball test between India and England in Ahmedabad. However, the 34-year-old, who holds the fastest 400 test wicket record among Indians, last appeared in the Limited Overgame in July 2017 and rarely goes in short format.
Ashwin was very vocal about his enthusiasm for returning to India’s Limited Over Setup for the first two years from Limited Over Snab. Even as veteran off-spinners enjoy their time with success in a series of white Indians, his fans still want to see him play white ball cricket again.
“What is your opinion on that? After the India vs England test series, can Ravichandran Ashwin make a comeback with ODI Cricket, or can the selector be chosen as an all-rounder for the team? The fan wrote to Brad Hogg.
A former Australian cricket player supported Ashwin’s idea of returning to Indian whiteball cricket because of his financial spells and the depth of blow he offered. Ashwin has 111 ODIs to 150 wickets and 46 T20Is to 52 wickets.
“I think this is a great option. It can add depth to the batting order and make the top order more aggressive. He is an option to take a wicket with the ball and is economical. Put him back. “Please, Hogg replied.
@ ibrahim_3337 I think it’s a great option, giving extra depth in batting order, allowing top orders to be more aggressive at the top, and he’s an option to take wickets with the ball, and It’s economical. Put him back. #INDvENG #cricket https://t.co/FmChPGK8H2
