On Friday, SME Minister Narayan Rane said that for a population of Rs 13.5 billion, the country needs more technical centers that need to be built quickly.
He mentioned this when he was effectively opening a technology center in Rohtak, Haryana.
He added that the new technologies developed at these centers should be used by more and more people to build an entrepreneurial country.

“The technology developed at these MSME centers will provide a good impetus for the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative during the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.
In another statement, the ministry has reached its limits with the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) launching the SPIN (Strengthening the Potential of India) scheme and establishing a pottery cluster in Varanasi under the SFURTI scheme. He said it would empower more than 1,100 people in the community. ..
Under SPIN, KVIC makes it easy for potters to get loans from banks and helps potters diversify their activities and increase their income.

The Kashi Pottery Cluster has also started in Village Bhatti, Varanasi.
The cluster, costing Rs 250 million, was installed over an area of 7,100 square feet and provided direct employment to 340 potters.
It is equipped with modern equipment such as furnaces, electric potter’s wheels, blogger machines, pug mills, and other modern equipment for higher production of clay pottery.
