IIT-M Launches Fellowship with AI for Social Benefit

Chennai: Indian Institute of Technology Madras, in collaboration with the Robert Bosch Data Science Center and the Narayanan Family Foundation, is announcing a fellowship of artificial intelligence for the benefit of society.

In a press release, IIT-M Director B. Raveendran said, “This project is designed to establish an independent research profile and contribute significantly to the socially relevant research of artificial intelligence (AI). I am. ”

Interested scholars and students can apply at https://rbscdsai.iitm.ac.in/nf3/. RBCDSAI is working with central, state, and local governments, and several sectors to seek insights into the latest developments in social sector research.

Doctoral graduates who have recently completed the course, or researchers in computer sciences, computational and data sciences, biomedicals, administration, finance, and other departments can apply for fellowship.

Researchers receive salaries ranging from Rs 15 to Rs 18 per year, based on their experience of a non-renewable period of 3 years. According to a press release, researchers are also eligible for a one-time grant of Rs 30.
