IIM Bodh Gaya Library Promotes Online Learning with All E-Resources – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Education News

Bodh Gaya: The IIM Bodh Gaya Library, known as the Learning Resource Center (LRC), plays an important role in the institute’s academic and research activities. The LRC is fully automated and features a diverse collection of books, journals, journals, e-journals, e-books and databases from world-renowned publishers in both printed and electronic formats. LRC provides access to over 1,50,000 ebooks, over 15,000 e-journals, over 5,000 e-journals and e-newspapers.
The new normal accepts the virtual world during this pandemic, and the LRC deals with the new normal situation. LRC has continued its remote access service so that students can access all of the library’s electronic resources from home. The library is registered in various databases such as ABI / Inform Complete, CMIE-Prowess IQ, EPWRF India Time Series, EIKON Database, EBSCO Business Source Ultimate, Grammarly, Turnitin Feedback Studio. The library has access to many Emerald Insights e-journals, JSTOR, Elsevier Science Direct, Taylor & Francis, and the ProQuest ebook Central Academic Complete.
Preparatory sessions were held at LRC on July 26, 2021 and July 27, 2021 to promote various electronic resources for new batches of PGP and Ph.D. student. At the beginning of the event on July 26, 2021, the library chair, Dr. Tamari Chakraborti, welcomes all students. The session began with a presentation by Dr. PM Gupta, Librarian of IIM Bodh Gaya, on online learning in a single window: access to digital resources. After that, Ratish Iyer gave a session on Grammarly’s academic writing and improving research outcomes. Syed Hasan Jafar attended a session on how to use the CMIE Prowess IQ database. Sanjay Rajan gave a presentation on how to maximize the benefits of ProQuest resources (eBook and e-Journals) for academic research.
On July 27, 2021, a session on the Refinitiv EIKON database was held by Reshmi Bhattacherya. Raj Kumar Mahapatra presented Business Source Ultimate: The Most Reliable Database for Business Research (EBSCO). The session ended with Bipin K. Deokar, an online database on the Indian economy developed by the EPW Research Foundation (EPWRF).
