The big screen release has stopped again, but one of the media that continues to send a lot of content despite the pandemic is OTT. This year we got off to a good start, and this week we had some big hits and interesting releases. The famous real-life Bollywood love story of the medical thriller human, the love triangle Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, and Ranjish Hi Sahi is part of a new web series currently being streamed. Starting this week, a Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise Part 1 is also available.

Human (Disney + Hotstar)

Human is a medical thriller based on human clinical trials in India. The series boasts a stellar cast headed by Shefari Shah and Kirti Kulhari, as well as Vishal Jeswa, Ram Kapoor, Cima Biswas, Aditya Srivastava, and Mohan Agache. The suspense thriller unravels the unexpected secrets of the world of medicine and its impact on people with fascinating stories of murder, mystery, desire, and manipulation. The Disney + Hotstar Specials series, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh, was written by Mozez Singh and Ishani Banerjee.

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein (Netlix)

A man sandwiched between a woman who loves him and a woman who wants him. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’s romantic simpton, Vikrant (Tahir Raj Bhasin), is the subject of Purva’s (Anchal Singh) desires. As Purva’s efforts to make him hers begin to destroy everything he cherishes, Vikrant with a gentle attitude finds a new dimension to him. To escape the clutch of Purva and regain his life with his true love, the deer (Shwetatripati), he goes down the dark road only to regret it later. Director, writer and producer Sidhaas Sengupta, known for producing popular television shows such as Barika Vadu and Series Afalan, will make their debut on Netflix with Ye Kali Kali Ankane.

Ranjish Hi Sahi (Voot Select)

Created by Mahesh Bat and written and directed by Pushpdeep Bhardhage, Vishesh Entertainment’s production-series is a fledgling, drawn into an out-of-marriage relationship with an eccentric superstar that will change his life forever. It revolves around the movie directors of heretics. His marriage with his first love swirls when he is torn between the two worlds. Set mainly in Bollywood in the 70’s, the story revolves around the lives of Shanker (Tahir Large Basin), Amna (Amara Paul) and Anju (Amrita Puri). The story explores the complex relationships between adults and the different shades that love can take. An intense drama that explores temptation, forbidden love, passion, trust, marriage, loyalty, unconditional, stability, attachment, and myriad emotional separations.

Pushpa: The Rise — Hindi Part 1 (Amazon Prime Video)

The blockbuster action thriller Pushpa: The Rise-Part 1 is now available in Hindi for Prime Video. Written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetti Media, the film is centered around Rashmita Mandanna and Fahad Facil, with Allu Arjun playing the leading role. Mega entertainers, who are similarly praised by fans and critics, are already streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on their streaming services.

Following the success of the Tamil anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai, Amazon Prime Video today announced the launch of its second installation, Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa. The perspectives of five different directors. Reflecting the second blockade of the COVID pandemic that shook India, the anthology focuses on the message of hope and love in despair.
