Google’s Nexus Twitter account revives, Pixel 6 launch and Apple mock announcement

The rivalry between tech giants is a full-fledged show in itself. Instead of jiving directly to each other, they drop subtle hints on Twitter and spread the word. It’s very interesting to witness from a distance. Apple recently launched the iPhone 13 series on September 14, and social media quickly responded with MEMS to issues such as lack of updates and high prices. Among those reactions was Google’s ridicule of Apple using its deprecated Nexus Twitter account, reminding people that the Google Pixel 6 Series is on the way.

The Google Pixel 6 series is coming soon, and it’s estimated that it will be released at any time in the coming weeks. Google leaves nothing to raise the level of excitement for their next product. Google offers teasers in the form of videos and physical displays in stores, trying everything out.

But with the launch of the Apple iPhone 13, Google took full advantage of that moment and teased its customers again. The day after the iPhone 13 was released, a tweet popped up on the official handle of Nexus, the predecessor of Pixel, saying “Wait for # Pixel6”.

It was just another tweet, but what made it special was that it was done by a dead account. @Googlenexus is a confirmed private account with 1 million followers and has been inactive since 2019. In the final tweet that the wall is from 2017, the company offers a discount on replacing older smartphones with Google Pixel 2. There are no new tweets in your account, except for replies to various attached tweets that were previously suspended in 2019.

The Google Pixel 6 has a tagline of “For All You Are” and is ready to poke your neck into the iPhone 13. The video released by the company suggests some features of Android 12, available in four colors: gold, white, green / teal, and orange.

Divided into two models, Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, smartphones have Full HD and QHD AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The Google Pixel 6 series is powered by Google’s in-house silicon chip, the Google Tensor chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage capacity.
