Ghulam Nabi Azad repeats J & K state demand, then breaks and conducts parliamentary polls.

Calling the division of Jammu and Kashmir a “loss,” parliamentary leader Gram Navi Azad first gave UT state status on Sunday, followed by constituency demarcation and parliamentary elections. Repeated the party’s request.

This was after Federal Interior Minister Amit Shah, who had been visiting UT for three days, announced that Jammu and Kashmir would recover after constituency demarcation and parliamentary elections.

“We are the big losers. We are the big losers after the state is split into two. We have been the big losers since the dissolution of Congress,” Azad told ANI.

“When Prime Minister Modi invited a political leader from Kashmir to his residence, I demanded that we want to hold an election following the state. Other political parties also demanded. The Minister of Interior requested us. Was given a state and guaranteed to be reported by the Demarcation Commission. ”

“I asked both the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior to thank the states that they were given and that the states should not have been split in two. But because they were split, you have a state. I agreed to give it, but first break it and then give it national rights. ”
