German flood deaths have reached 180 and 150 are still missing

According to officials, the latest death toll from floods in western Germany this month was 180, with about 150 missing.

German weather services have called for caution as more rain is expected this weekend.

Police have confirmed that 132 people have been killed and 766 have been injured in Rhineland-Palatinate, which was the hardest hit by the storm.

149 people are still missing in the area, but “I don’t think the final death toll will increase that much,” said state interior minister Roger Lewenz, who is on vacation on the list. Was included.

Police are searching with the help of a helicopter and about 30 detection dogs.

“There is no way to know if we can find all the dead,” Lewentz said.

Forty-seven people have died in the neighborhood of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Cologne police said they were looking for two people who were missing or could not be contacted.

One died in Bavaria, Belgium killed 36, and Europe’s total casualties were 216.
