Paris: Formula E added six races to the 2021 calendar on Thursday, but all-electric circuit organizers unplugged Paris at the expense of the famous French leg Coronavirus Pandemic.

This year’s winner, the seventh season of the year, will be recognized as the first official FIA World Champion. This is a sign of championship growth.

Saudi Arabia will launch this year’s campaign for a series of night races in Diraya from February 26th to 27th, as announced earlier this month.

The season will then move on to two races in Rome, Valencia, Spain, Monaco, Marrakech, and Santiago, the capital of Chile, where the season was scheduled to begin this month.

The organizers said in a statement that the rest of the calendar will be released “early spring” as the pandemic progresses.

The absent Paris foot will return in 2022.

Formula E Sports Director Frederick Espinos told AFP, “This race will be held in the city center, where there are plenty of free areas available to the general public. It will meet all the necessary restrictions. Was very complicated. “

“Complicating the matter is that Formula E races are essentially held in the city center and we should clearly consider the current situation, which makes things more complicated.”

All Espinos hope the season will eventually consist of 13 or 14 races, including the Sanya (China) and Seoul legs.

“These decisions will be made on the rest of the calendar in early spring, depending on travel and regional restrictions,” Espinos explained.

Valencia will be the first to appear on the calendar at the existing Ricardo Tormo Circuit.

Antonio Felix Dacosta of Portugal won the Formula E Championship in 2020.
