Former Australian test cricket player stripped, assaulted and threatened with gun points

Former Australian test spinner Stuart MacGill was kidnapped on April 14, and during an hour of trials, police said he was stripped naked, beaten in the face about eight times, and threatened with a gun. It is said that it was told.

According to Macgill, he was kidnapped by three men and driven to a farm hut in Bringelly, a suburb of western Sydney. He claimed that the incident happened a week after introducing a drug dealer named Sony to his partner Marie Omiger’s brother Marino Sotilopros.

After this, a 50-year-old man was reportedly kidnapped by three men, including a man called the “Big Guy.” The man threatened to cut Magill’s finger with a bolt cutter and demanded A $ 150,000.

Two of the three men at the property claim that MacGill was armed.

Currently, Son Minh Nguyen, Richard Schaaf and Frederick Schaaf have been charged and arrested in connection with the case. Sotiropoulos, detailed by police, will apply for bail next week.

However, Nguyen’s lawyer, Glenn Gould, told the court when he applied for bail that his client had no prior knowledge of the alleged kidnapping plan.

“Police need to prove that the applicant is aware of all the elements of the kidnapping in question … in order to participate in the kidnapping and direct the kidnapping,” Goold said.
