Jammu: Government PG College for Women’s Red Ribbon Club, Gandhi Nagar, hosted a series of events to commemorate World AIDS Day compliance under the auspices of the College Principal.
A webinar was held on World AIDS Day with Dr. Arun Sharma, a medical supervisor at a maternity hospital, as a keynote speaker.
Dr. Sharma gave a lecture focusing on the causes and prevention of AIDS and the need to raise awareness. He emphasized the importance of counseling and guidance for HIV-positive patients.
The webinar proceedings were held by Dr. Levica Arora, Convina / Nord Officer, with a thank-you vote from Professor Ambica. The webinar was attended by more than 70 university students, faculty and staff, and members of the Red Ribbon Club Committee.
Meanwhile, in order to raise awareness of the cause, a balloon-raising ceremony was held in which Dr. Sangita Nagari, the president of the university, Professor Levica Arora, a member of the Red Ribbon Club, and Professor Abinaf, a node officer, shoot red balloons into the air. Professor Manmeet, Professor Ambica, Professor Kusum, Student Volunteer Team, Shivani Rasgotra, Ananya Jain, Mishi Dranch. University students exhibited beautiful posters and slogans depicting the causes. In the end, the civil ceremony was held with the aim of raising awareness and raising awareness of the cause.
GDC Ukhral: Government Degree College Ukhral has organized an awareness program on World AIDS Day on its university campus.
The theme of “End Equalities, End AIDS” in 2021 was often brought back. The program began with a welcome remark by Dr. Ranvijay Singh, a university patron. He urged the audience to know AIDS and take precautions as the only cure available to eradicate this threat from Mother Earth. Presentations on notes, features and results were presented by university students.
