With the advent of Windows 11, the first stable release began to be available to Windows 10 users earlier this month. If you have already updated to Microsoft’s new operating system, you should enjoy the latest rounded corner design and sleek look. However, since the OS is new, there may still be some shortcomings and bugs. For many users, changing or improving functionality is also inconvenient. So if for some reason you want to get your good old Windows back back, it’s not as difficult as it looks.
There are two ways to downgrade to Windows 10, depending on whether your PC still has files from the last operating system. Windows usually keeps the last version of the file for at least 10 days in case you want to get it back.
With a few simple steps, you can check if you still have files from previous versions of Windows and downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10.
step 1:[スタート]Enter “Settings” in the menu to open the Settings app. You should now see a list of settings sections on the left and selected section settings on the right. On the left panel, at the bottom[WindowsUpdate]Select an option.
Step 2: In the right panel, a list of settings opens. Select Advanced Options.
Step 3: On the next screen,[追加オプション]Scroll down to the section and[リカバリ]Click Options.
Step 4: Below the recovery options, you will see a “Back” option with a clock and arrow icon. Click the Back button to the right of the options.
Step 5: If you don’t have the files you need, you will see the message “Sorry, irreversible”. If you still want to go back, you need to manually download and install the Windows 10 iso file.
Step 6: If you have files, you will see a warning and request from Windows before returning. You will also be asked why you are downgrading. If you change your mind with the pop-up, you should continue to click Next.
Step 7: Windows suggests that you may need to reinstall some apps. Backing up your files is not required, but it is recommended in case of problems. Finally, click the “Return to Windows 10” button to start the process.
This process can take at least 10 minutes, depending on the speed of your hard drive and the amount of data stored.
If you change your mind and install Windows 11 again after returning to Windows 10, you can follow the same steps you chose when you first installed Windows 11. Configuration >> >> Windows Update To select upgrade..
