JAMMU: Jammu, the cultural division of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), today held an awareness camp on Covid Appropriate Behavior here at Saryara Sabha Bahu Fort to commemorate the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Buff Fort, a station house officer, and Kirti Sharma, a police station, were the chief guests. Cultural artists have unveiled a glittering cultural program featuring folk songs and theme-based songs.
Many locals have witnessed the program in strict adherence to Covid’s proper behavior. Cultural artists, including drama instructor Vijay Anand. Senior Culture Assistant Kamal Kumar; Surjeet Singh; Mohinder Kumar; Bantisha and Mukesh Kumar entertained the audience. The program was conducted by Senior Cultural Assistant Suresh Kumar.
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the Cultural Department to spread awareness of Covid to the public and celebrate the importance of AKAM. She thanked the artists who used folk music as a medium to raise awareness and said it was interesting and had a huge impact on the locals. She also urged people to follow guidelines issued by the government for Covid’s proper actions.
