“Dangerous and unpleasant”: Anand Mahindra faces a backlash to promote the “Tar Crossing River”

New Delhi: Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra posted a video on Twitter on Wednesday of Tar crossing the riverbed in a strong tide. This has caused a great deal of anger on social media platforms, which netizens call “promotion of dangerous content.”
Anand Mahindra has a strong presence on microblogging sites and often expresses opinions, disagreements and ideas. But recent ones seem to find more critics.
Mahindra on Twitter posted a video and wrote: After RT a tweet about Bolero in Gujarat walking in the flood, several people shared this video on Youtube. You may need to create a new industry called “Mahindra Amphibious Vehicles” (MAV!).

The video depicts a new tar crossing a river full of water and strong currents. The water level reaches the window line surprisingly as the off-road SUV tries to pass through. After crossing the river, the driver makes a U-turn and repeats this process.
The new tar will be launched in 2020 and has a 650mm water play capacity according to specifications.
Netizens split in the act, and many felt it was horrifying, unpleasant, and dangerous.

“… As a responsible CEO, I really think I shouldn’t have shared such a video because it’s very dangerous and can encourage others to try such stunts … “: Deepti Gupta writes.
Shashank Kishore writes: It’s beyond me. Isn’t it dangerous to promote something like this? What if ppl interprets it as normal? I wrote another user.
At the time of submitting the article, the post received over 1,700 retweets and 20,000 likes.
In reply to the tweet, Baru wrote: Even after watching a lot of flood videos, I think we’re waiting for some kind of disaster by promoting this kind of video. If your ads look good and you’re lucky, it’s not easy to deny science and Mother Nature. Don’t try.
Reflecting similar feelings, Pawang wrote: If someone tries this and unfortunately faces death, I don’t know who’s fault should be counted. ”
