covid Curb: Covid-19: Maharashtra Government relaxes curb and allows schools and pools to reopen

The state government recognized a sharp drop in the Covid-19 positive rate on Monday and announced further easing. Authorities do not check RT-PCR test reports for international passengers upon arrival at the airport, except for passengers from certain countries.

Instead, airlines need to have international passengers upload their RT-PCR reports to the Air Suvidha portal to confirm the same before boarding the plane. There is no regular SPO2 check at the airport.

The government has allowed schools to resume classes from Standards 1 to 5 from October 25th. However, the school must obtain parental consent in order to conduct face-to-face lessons. However, only half of the students can attend the class.

The government also allows swimming votes to be held in half the capacity of each batch. The pool is available only to asymptomatic people who have been vaccinated twice.
