Citroën Opens 10 Showrooms in 10 Cities Prior to Launch of C5 Air Cross

The C5 AirCross SUV will be launched in India in the first quarter of 2021.

Citroen India is ready to launch the C5 Air Cross in India in the first quarter of 2021. As a result, the company has begun to expand its business to ensure that cars reach the right market. So, first, the company plans to launch 10 showrooms in 10 cities before the launch of the Citroen C5 AirCross. The target cities for this first phase are Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Cochin and Kolkata. All of these cities have La Maison Citroen showrooms to help customers engage with the company in a “physical” way.

All 10 showrooms follow La Maison format

All showrooms come with a 3D configurator to help customers customize their car. With these new showrooms, Citroën wants to continue its engagement. The company calls it “brick to click”. The company maintains the La Maison format at all retailers in the country and plans to expand these showrooms over the next few years, but so far the company sticks to just 10 showrooms. The carandbike question was answered by Roland Bouchara, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Citroen India. “I’m not sure if we can provide a number yet, but we’ll start with 10 cities first. Of course, the digital platform will also help us cover the ground a bit more.”

All showrooms are equipped with a 3D configurator to help consumers customize their car.

The question about the average cost per dealer remained unanswered as the company stated that the cost depends on the city and the region in which it is located. With 10 dealers coming in the first quarter of this year, the company aims to push the C5 AirCross to the Indian market and promises more products to be launched in the coming years.
