CBSE conducts a surprise check of schools preparing board results

The Central Secondary School Board (CBSE) will conduct a surprise check at affiliated schools across the country and produce a digital report on compliance and rationalization practices at schools next week.

CBSE Tuesday sent a letter to all field offices to conduct inspections without intimate relationships with both private and government-run schools, including central schools. CBSE’s new assessment scheme, based on the 30:30:40 model after exam cancellation, commissioned the school to perform most of the assessment work based on internal assessment, practice and project work.

The results of the 2020-21 CBSE board exam will be announced by the end of this month. First class 10 students, then class 12 students.

‚ÄúDuring a visit to the school to obtain actual information about the school’s achievements, it may be guaranteed that the school will not be properly informed and only a sudden examination will be conducted. ). To fulfill this responsibility, all personnel involved must be fully accustomed to the Board’s aggregation policy. “

CBSE said staff visiting schools must also sign inspected documents, especially score rationalization documents. A complete report, along with a soft copy of the document, will be sent to the review administrator by July 12.

Due to the pandemic, the CBSE canceled Class 10 and Class 12 school board exams in the 2020-21 session, followed by most of the state school boards. The CBSE has already announced that the 2020-21 academic year assessment of the board exam will be published based on the 30:30:40 formula, which takes into account the average performance over the last three years.

The CBSE also announced a new assessment scheme that will carry out Class 10 and Class 12 assessments in the second phase from 2021 to 2010, rather than the current end-of-year final exam.
