BSA Gold Star 650 specifications revealed

Classique Legend has officially revived the iconic BSA motorcycle brand for the European market. The company announced the first motorcycle. BSA Gold Star 650Debuted at an exclusive event in Birmingham, England. This time, BSA Motorcycle has revealed the engine specifications of Gold Star 650.

BSA Gold Star 650 engine specifications

The new Goldstar 650 is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder engine, producing a maximum output of 45bhp at 6000rpm and a torque of 55Nm at 4000rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. This 650cc single cylinder DOHC comes with cooling fins and a large radiator. A fuel injector cover has also been added to give it an old-fashioned appeal.

The motorcycle has a single 320mm Brembo twin-piston floating caliper on the front and a single 225mm Brembo single-piston floating caliper on the rear. In addition, dual channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) is standard equipment. The motorcycle features a 41mm telescopic front fork and twin shock absorbers with a 5-step adjustable preload.

BSA Gold Star Instrument

The BSA Gold Star 650 has a curb weight of 213 kg. It has a fuel tank with a capacity of 12 liters. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch front wheels wrapped in 18/90 section Pirelli Phantom tires and 17-inch rear wheels covered with 150/70 Pirelli Phantom Sport Comp tires. The wheelbase is 1,425mm and the seat height is 780mm.

Gold Star 650 design highlights include traditional rounded headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, LED taillights, wide set handlebars and teardrop fuel tanks. It has wide fenders and new spoke wheels. Chrome treatment is found throughout the body, headlamps, fuel tanks, engine casings, and exhaust pipes. It gets a big one-piece seat in an upright riding position.
