President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu talked about the situation in Gaza.
According to a statement from Netanyahu’s office, Israeli leaders have updated Biden on the progress and actions Israel has taken and are about to take. Netanyahu also said he thanked Biden for “US unconditional support for the right to protect them.”
Netanyahu said in a conversation that he emphasized that Israel is doing everything in order not to hurt the people involved. “The proof of this is that in towers with terrorist targets attacked by the IDF, they are evacuating from those who are not involved,” the statement added.
Biden-Netanyahu’s call came just hours after the Israeli airstrikes on Saturday targeted and destroyed the skyscrapers of the city of Gaza, which housed the Associated Press and other media offices.
