Asus ROG Phone 5 may come with 18GB RAM variant, Geekbench list tips

Asus plans to launch the next gaming smartphone, the Asus ROG Phone 5, on March 10th. Prior to launch, details of the Asus ROG Phone 5 will be posted on the benchmark website Geekbench, suggesting that smartphones may have 18GB of RAM variants. If true, this is the maximum amount of RAM ever seen on a smartphone. In another development, a list of Asus ROG Phone 5s was found on JD.com in China.

According to a previous report, the Asus ROG Phone 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset. The Asus ROG Phone 5’s Geekbench list, which shows model number ASUS_I005DB, may have the most RAM you’ve ever seen on your smartphone. Previously, 16GB was the maximum amount of RAM found on smartphones. The Asus ROG Phone 3 also had up to 16GB of RAM. In addition to suggesting possible RAM numbers, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Geekbench list also shows ROG Phone 5 single-core and multi-core benchmark scores. AsusROGPhone5 is a single-core test with 1,113 points and a multi-core test.

According to previous reports, the Asus ROG Phone 5 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD + display and comes standard with Android 11. Backed up by a 6,000mAh battery, the same size as ROG Phone 3, it supports 65W fast charging.

Asus will release ROG Phone 5 at 4:15 pm on March 10th at IST. The landing page for the Asus ROG Phone 5 is also available on the Asus website. However, nothing is displayed except to display the RGB logo indicating that the RGB logo exists on the smartphone itself.
