The funds raised through this initiative will be directed to a wide range of campaigns aimed at providing oxygen, healthcare professionals, vaccination awareness and telemedicine facilities.

In a statement, Anushka described their fundraising activities as follows: Now is the time for all of us to come together and work little by little for our compatriots who are in serious need of help. Virat and I are very distressed to see the mysterious suffering that people are experiencing. We hope that this fund will help fight the virus that we are all helplessly witnessing. We pray for your safety. As we are all together, we hope you will participate in our prayers to save as many lives as possible. ”

Virat Kohli, captain of the Indian cricket team who recently returned home after the cricket tournament was canceled due to COVID-19, said: Save as many people as you can. Anushka and I have been shocked to see human suffering since last year. We have been working to help as many people as possible through a pandemic, but now India wants more than ever. We are starting this fundraising activity with the conviction that we can raise a lot of money to help those in desperate need. We are confident that people will come forward to help our endangered compatriots. We will join this together and overcome this. ”
